Inlaid single or multiple cracks - inlaid systems are approved for single and multiple cracks. They are installed by planing out a required recess depending on the system’s specification. The product is then used to fill the recess flush to the surface and dressed with high PSV aggregate to provide texture depth and skid resistance.

This new guide represents best industry practice for the selection and application of crack sealing and joint repair systems to maximise their performance and durability. To ensure client-side acceptance it has also been peer reviewed by the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT).

Sawcut and Seal - in areas where temperature fluctuations are very severe, the saw and seal method is ideal for increasing the longevity of asphalt pavement. By installing control joints in the new pavement and sealing the joints, the expansion and contraction process tends to cause many less random cracks in the pavement. (This is like installing control joints in concrete.)
Studies have shown the sawcut and seal method to be effective in significantly reducing pavement maintenance costs in the long run.

Pot hole and Concrete repairs – the cost of repairing potholes has been steadily growing as recent harsh winters ravage roads and decades of government underfunding leave councils barely able to cope, according to the Local Government Association (LGA), which represents more than 370 councils in England and Wales. The total spending has risen from £9.8bn in 2012 to £11.8bn last year, statistics from the Asphalt Industry Alliance show. This means at the current rate of growth, pothole repairs will cost £14bn by around 2019 – that's more than three times the councils' entire annual revenue spending on highways and transport, which sits at £4.4bn.
